Extra Info
We ask that all your child’s belongings are named to ensure they can be returned at the end of their session.
We provide most learning resources, snacks and breakfast if your child attends Breakfast Club, there’s no need to bring toys or food other than lunch from home unless it has been requested for special occasions.
We are water only and run a nut free policy.
1. Swap sweet treats
Swap cakes, chocolate, cereal bars and biscuits for malt loaf, fruited teacakes, fruit breads or fruit (fresh, dried or tinned – in juice not syrup).

Meadows Room

2. Crisps in modoration
If your child likes their crisps try reducing the number of times you include them in their lunchbox, and swap for homemade plain popcorn or plain rice cakes instead.
3. Always add veg
Add salad to sandwiches and pop cherry tomatoes, or sticks of carrot, cucumber, celery and peppers - they count towards their 5 A Day. Adding a small pot of reduced-fat dips may help with getting kids to eat vegetables.

4. Fuller for longer
Base the main lunchbox item on foods like bread, rice, pasta and potatoes. Choose wholegrain where you can. Cut sandwiches into shapes, be adventurous and get creative! Your kids will love it.
